Dear BHS Community,
BHS Incident, 4/3/18
I am writing to you out of an abundance of caution. Earlier this evening a teacher found a bullet in the social studies teacher workroom. It was determined that the bullet was part of a student’s World War II scrapbook project that had come loose. Once the bullet was discovered, the school administration notified the Belmont Police. The police assessed the situation and determined there was no threat to the school.
I commend the teacher’s quick response to notify the appropriate personnel and to act on “If you see something, say something”.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, 617-993-5902.
Regards,
Dan Richards
Principal
