Nate Jones also earned the festival’s Most Valuable Player Award.
The Jazz Collective earned a Gold Medal for their performance, and as a result have advanced to MAJE State Finals to be held this Sunday, March 18, at Norwood High School. Should they advance past this stage they will earn the opportunity to perform at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade in Boston.
