Snow shoveling for senior citizens: More help needed, especially near Butler and Burbank

Tutors needed:

4th grade Wellington boy:  needs someone to read with him & help with writing (male tutor ideal as role 

model):  NOT Wed.

6th grade boy:  Support in all subjects (male tutor ideal); Wed. afternoons

8th grade boys and girls need Algebra 1 help  (SOPHS & up)

Extra Help Sessions (Occasional) in 8th grade Algebra 1 (several BHS students needed–SOPHS

up) Ms. Coleman will contact you when a session is scheduled to see if you can come

Butler Math & Science Night: Thurs, Jan. 17, 6-8:30  Help with experiment and math manipulative tables

MLK Breakfast: 

Sun, 1/20: set tables, 4-8PM

Mon, 1/21: 8-9 serve; 9-11  Games with Mr. S ( for children ages 6-11);  11-12  clean up

Butler PTA Meeting Childcare:  Tues, Feb. 12, 6:45-8:45

Feb. Vacation Opportunities:   

Drumlin Farm Camp, Feb. 18-22, 8:30-3:30, one day or many; ages 15+. (April Vacation, too)

Limited number of spaces. 

Help young children with games, crafts, getting ready for outdoor play, and lunches. Outdoor attire!


Computer game development at Drumlin Farm : Feb 19th-22nd 9-12:00 or 1:00-4:00pm each day. RSVP by Feb. 1.

Join a regional planning firm as a virtual intern and gather information from stakeholder groups as you design a land use plan

for a community in Lowell.  Give feedback on game design. Robin Stuart at 781-259-2217 or

Woolapalooza:  Sat. Mar. 30, morning and/or afternoon shift  (one shift or all day)

HIP Pulling Partners:  Wednesdays after school starting 1/9; (during Feb. and Apr. vacations, 10-noon).  Just show up!

Plant trees, remove invasive plants, chip trails, rejuvenate pond, field, & forest habitats.

Volunteer Service Days Special weekend opportunities. Tools, gloves, & instruction provided.
