On Tuesday, 10/23, I joined the Belmont School Committee for their annual meeting with families from the Metco program in Boston. The forum provided an opportunity to hear from parents about their participation in the program. A representative from Belmont Against Racism (BAR) presented a check for $10,000 to help support the after-school transportation for students. Thank you to BAR for their generous gift and for all the families who participated in the forum. As always, we learned much.
